Ikenna was one of the best broadcasters in Nigeria. He presented 'The Rainbow Room' at the Eastern Nigerian Broadcasting Coperation Enugu.

IK, as he was know joined the Biafran army in 1967 as an officer and died in action at the Enugu axis in November 1968.
