DEATH: Robinson Daily News, Robinson, IL, 11 Aug 1950 Obituary Extract Mrs. Rena Lingafelter, 75, of Willow Hill vicinity died Wednesday at the Olney Sanitarium. She was born 13 Oct 1874 in Crawford Co to Mr. & Mrs. John Lamb. She married Rev. Lingafelter on 12 Jan 1892 and they lived near Willow Hill for the past 30 years. She was a member of the Zoar Methodist Church. Survivors include her husband; daughters Mrs. Edith Tharp of Dundas, Mrs. Mamie Mayes of Berea, CA, Mrs. Ada Martin of Olney, and Mrs. Theressa Appadahl of Farina; sons Hosea Lingafelter of McPhearson, KS, Cleo Lingafelter of Salem, Kenton Lingafelter of Flora, and Leasal Lingafelter of Willow Hill; step-son Charles Lingafelter of Annapolis; half-brothers Fred Lamb of Terre Haute, IN and Raleigh Lamb of Newton; twenty-nine grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren. Burial in Oblong cemetery.
