

The Slaughter family went from Wales to Virgina.
Soldier of the Revolution under General George Washington, settled at Town of Walkill, later at Shawangunk, Ulster County; 1803 back to Wallkill; 1819 to Hamptonburgh where he died in 1838, aged 84; farmer.
