Isaac Westfall

Isaac was born to Abraham Westfall and Sarah Rumsour. He shows in the 1840 census as age 10-14 and doesn't appear in a later census. He married Mary Ann Denton, date and place unknown, and they settled in Dallas County, Texas, where they had: 1) Edward Dixon on 1 Feb 1861 2) Andrew Jackson in 1863 3) Ellen Josephine in 1865 (wed Joel Gardner ~1880)

Isaac was a private in company K of Colonel Nathaniel Macon Burford's 19th Texas Calvary. The regiment was formed in May 1862 and served in Parson's Brigade. They operated out of Arkansas until disbanded in May 1865. Isaac most likely died soon after 1865 as there were no more children and he does not show in later census records. Isaac's wife Mary and their three children were in Madison County, Arkansas, during the 1880 census.
