Birth:  1726 Chester Delaware County Pennsylvania, USA Death:  Apr. 17, 1782 Fishersville Augusta County Virginia, USA

Isaac White and his brother, Moses, married sisters. They were Jane and Mary, respectively and they were the daughters of James Campbell, whose lineage has already been discussed. They moved from Chester County to Frederick County, Virginia, a distance of about 200 miles down The Great Wagon Road as they moved west and then south into the Shenandoah Valley. As the Whites and the Campbells moved into Virginia in the 1750's, they were caught up in world events. The French & Indian War occurred and Isaac volunteered. Isaac shows up on the muster rolls of the county militia in the 32nd year of the reign of King George II. This would be September 1758. Isaac9 married Jane (sometimes referred to as Jean) Campbell9 about 1754 probably in Frederick County. After his French & Indian War service he continued south and joined his father-in-law, James Campbell in Augusta County. This is another one hundred miles further south. Isaac completed his will in Augusta County which was probated there 17 April 1782 as the Revolutionary War closed. Isaac and Jane were the parents of ten known children. One of these was David White. Jane died after 14 November 1787.
