Robert Earl Thrasher was born abt 1598 in Bradford, Wiltshire, England. He was the son of Henry Thresher (1572-1680) and Edith (Revell) Thrasher.

Robert married Isabell Elizabeth Painter (1600-1680)in Bradford On Avon, Wiltshire, England in 1617. They were both abt 17 - 19 years old. Isabell's parents are unknown at this time.

In 1620, the ship BONA NOVA sailed from Port of London to Virginia. The passenger muster lists Robert Earl Thrasher, age 22 as a passenger. It also lists his wife, Elizabeth and their 2 year old son William as passengers. The Virginia Muster of Feb. 7, 1624 also lists them as residents of "Elizabeth Cittie beyond Hampton River" in Virginia.

Robert Earl and Isabell Elizabeth Thrasher were the parents of the following known children: William S Thrasher and Susannah Thresher Peasley.

The King of England granted 450 acres of land on the Hampton River to Robert Earl Thrasher. It was called the First Thrasher Farm.

Robert died on 13 Oct 1657 in Hampton, Rappahannock, Virginia, United States. He was abt 59 years old.
