However, there were a number of Isabella Stancliffes in Halifax who were born and married in the mid-to-late 1500s, as shown by volumes 37 and 45 of the Space:The Publications of the Yorkshire Parish Register Society|The Publications of the Yorkshire Parish RegisterSociety. Without further information, the parentage of Isabella is unknown.
