Son of Esther Dillon and Israel Doane(4), Daniel(3), Daniel(2), Deacon John Doane(1). Born at Plumstead. Married about 1760 to Rachel Vickers. Charged with harboring and aiding his son and nephews on 22 Oct 1781; was jailed August 1782 to Feb. 1783. He was not released even after his sentence was served and apparently died in prison before 1787. Lived on farm with father 1/2 m. NW of Plumsteadville.
