About Iva Viola Pratt
Iva Viola Pratt, was born Jan. 11, 1889, in Taney County, Mo., the daughter of George and Ann (Floyd) Hicks. She departed this life Oct. 6, 1967, after a long illness, at the age of 78 years, 7 months, 25 days.
She was a longtime member of the Bethel General Baptist Church.
Survivors include one son, John Solomon of Ava, Mo., four daughters, Mrs. Lotus Day, Mrs. Lona Duckworth, both of Ava, Mo., Mrs. Georgia Mitchell, Eugene, Ore., and Mrs. Fern Friday of Yakima, Wash; two brothers, Jim Hicks of Shenandoah, Ia., and William Hicks, of Springfield, Mo.; two sisters, Mrs. Sarah Snodgrass of Ava, Mo. and Mrs. Bertie Hutchings of Corning, Iowa; 23 grandchildren and 45 great-grandchildren, and many friends.
Funeral services were held Sunday, Oct 8, 1967, at the Clinkingbeard Funeral Chapel by Rev. Tom Johnson and Rev. Lawrence Applegate. Burial was made in the Bethel Cemetery by Clinkingbeard Funeral home.* Reference: Find A Grave Memorial - SmartCopy: Oct 12 2022, 15:56:00 UTC
