Oct 10 1797 in 47th year of age Dear relict of the peaceful dead While tears in torrents flow Reflect your husband is but fled From scenes of pain and woe Three amiable daughters Polly aged 5 yrs. 7 mos. Polly 2nd aged 2 yrs. 6 mos. Pamelia aged 9 mos. and 4 days Jacob died of a hemorrhage from a wound inflicted by an ax on his head or knee. He moved with his parents to Berkshire Co., Mass. 1756. Left by nita austin,granddaughter of E. Manley Ensign.. on 12 Nov 2014

[Notes] Jacob married Molly Herrick on 3 Jan 1782. Molly was born about 1761 in Pittsfield, Berkshire County, Massachusetts.
