Robert was born in 1217, in Newton de Willows, Makerfield, Lancashire, England. Alice was born in 1241, in Cuerden, Lancashire, England. Jacobus had 2 brothers: Robert VI Banastre and Thomas de Banastre. Jacobus married Ellen Banastre (born Butler) in 1256, at age 26 in Walton, Lancashire, England. Ellen was born circa 1237, in Alton, Staffordshire, England. They had one daughter: Alice Byron (born Banastre). Jacobus passed away in 1292, at age 62 in England.
