Married 6 Dec 1847. One undetailed source gives him and his wife as the parents of David Johannes Sadie. Timeline fits, and family names fit. All of his 4 (likely) sons named their oldest children Jacobus Johannes Nicolaas and Wilhelmina Hendrina (after their parents), which, by the way, is pretty confusing. The less likely options would be if David Johannes Sadie was the grandson (through an unknown father) of b12 Frederikus Albertus or an unmentioned son of one of Frederick Albrecht's sons (Frederikus and Frederick were the only 2 sons of a1 who remained in the region) but none of his children are named after them, which makes it very unlikely. The sadie-james.co.za website only mentions 2 sons: Frederick Albertus and Johan Michiel, but Jacobus Jacob van Lill Sadie is known to be a third son (the second oldest), and David Johannes Sadie is very likely the fourth.
