Jacqueline Montbel of Entremont was born February 16, 1541 in Paris, in a house near the Palace of the Louvre1. She died in prison in the castle of Ivrea (Piedmont) on 17 December 1599. Widow in first marriage, she converted to Protestantism and she married in second marriage Admiral Gaspard II de Coligny, which it will be widowed during the massacre of St. Bartholomew.
