About Jade Amelia Thirlwall
Jade Amelia Thirlwall (born 26 December 1992) is an English singer, songwriter, and member of the British girl group Little Mix. The group was formed on the eighth series of The X Factor and become the first group to win the British version of the series. They have sold over 60 million records worldwide, making them one of the best-selling girl groups.[1][2] Alongside with the group, she has released six studio albums and chieved five number-one singles on the UK Singles Chart.
Thirlwall is known for being a prominent supporter of the LGBT community.[3] In 2019, she officially signed as songwriter in a deal with Sony/ATV Music.[4] In the same year she opened her own cocktail bar, called Arbeia, in her hometown of South Shields.
