Perkerewicz, Jadwiga (nee Ciesielski) Warsaw Mourns Pioneer's Death Final Rites for Mrs. Jadwiga Perkalewicz Were Conducted There Friday

  Mrs. Jagwiga Perkalewicz, 78, pioneer resident of the Warsaw community, died there at the home of her son, Joe Perkalewicz, Wednesday, Aug. 3, following an illness of four months duration.

  Mrs. Perkalewicz first arrived in Walsh County in the early eighties with her husband, Anton Perkalewicz, and at that time they settled on a farm a short distance west of Warsaw. Later, about 25 years ago, they purchased a farm northeast of Warsaw on the Red River. It was on this second farm that Mrs. Perkalewicz resided until her death. It is now about ten years since Mr. Perkalewicz died, and after his death the farm was operated by Mrs. Perkalewicz and an unmarried son, Frank.

  Funeral services were conducted at St. Stanislaus church at Warsaw Friday, Aug. 5, 10 AM. Rev. Father Maluszycki, pastor, officiated. Pallbearers were Joe Popowsky, John Duray, John Byzewski, Adam Perkalewicz, Anton Mozinski, and Joseph Kosmatka.

  Three sons and three daughters survive Mrs. Perkalewicz. The sons are Adam, Joe, and Frank, all of the Warsaw and Red River community. The daughters are Mrs. Walter Gajeski, Drayton; Mrs. Leonard Blawat, and Mrs. Serapion Blawat who reside in Minnesota.

  Three married daughters preceded their mother in death. They were Mrs. Frank Marynik, Warsaw; Mrs. Joe Marynik, Drayton, and Mrs. Lukaszewicz of Minnesota. [Walsh County Record, Grafton, Thursday, August 11, 1932]
