From THE SETTLER HANDBOOK by MD Nash: George Southey, a gentleman of Wellington, Somerset, paid the deposits for 6 indentured servants (Ingram, Stark, Thomas Berry (21), Parsons, Sawyer and Hutchings) and James Berry (14), a lad 'brought from the workhouse'.
