12 February 1650: Extract decree of transference at instance of Mr Alexander Hamiltowne [Hamilton] of Hill, WS, and Marion Eleis [Ellis], his spouse, as assignees of James Eleis, merchant burgess of Edinburgh, against Patrick, Earl of Kinghorn, as son and heir of umquhil John, Earl of Kinghorn, in respect of a bond by John, Earl of Mar, and John, Lord Erskine, with consent of cautioners, including the said John, Earl of Kinghorn, to the said James Eleis, 3-4 Jul 1635.
