James Gorman

James was probably bapt 1822 by a priest from Leighlinbridge, Carlow, and is shown in the Leighlinbridge register as the son of William Gorman and Judith Brennan, of Paulstown (a not uncommon variant of Joan).

His older brother, MICHAEL GORMAN was bapt 1820, also in the Leighlinbridge register, son of William and Judy Brennan of Paulstown.
