From Find A Grave.com, the following memorial is depicted there, along with his photo and another of James and his wife and a child or grandchild, along with a photo of his gravestone, which shows he was buried with his wife, Drusilla Dorris Hendricks.
"In memory of James born in Simpson County, Kentucky. He was baptized into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints March, 1835. He passed through the persecutions of the church: wounded at the battle of Crooked River, Missouri, October 25, 1838. He came to Salt Lake October 4, 1847. Moved to Richmond, Utah in 1860."
His parents were Abraham Hendricks (1763-1841) and Charlotte Hinton Hendricks (1765-1825). His wife was Drusilla Dorris Hendricks (1810-1881), and their children are shown below:
