From the O'Donnell family history preserved by Rose Payne:
James O'Donnell was born in Castlebar, County Mayo, Ireland, on November 10, 1848. He and two of his siblings, Dan and Anne, came to America in 1880. They settled in Little Wolf Township, Manawa, Wisconsin.
James married Mary Ann Ryan at Catholic Church in New London, Wisconsin, on June 5, 1883. They were married by Father F.H. Scholz. (Contradictory information says James married Mary Ann in Manawa, but the former data was more specific.)
James and Mary Ann had six children. Mary Ann died on October 2, 1914. James died on November 17, 1926. Both are buried in St. Patrick's Cemetery in Lebanon, Wisconsin.
