Biography

James Park was admitted to the First Church of Preston, Sept. 24, 1712, his oldest son, Aaron, having been baptized the day before, in the same church. He was Surveyor of Preston, in 1722. He died about 1726-7, as an Admr's. bond of Deborah Park, with Jonathan Geere as surety, was signed April 11, 1727, in sum of 800 pounds, on the estate of James Park. Inventory, dated January, and recorded in New London, April 21, 1727, amounted to 396 punds; s17:d8.

JAMES* PARK, (Robert', Thomas', Robert'), was born in Norwich, Conn., about 1685. He married Deborah Geere, March 27, 1709, at Preston. She was a daughter of Jonathan and Mary (Allyn) Geere. She died Dec. 10, 1736. James Park was admitted to the First Church of Preston, Sept. 24. 1712, his oldest son, Aaron, having been baptized the day before, in the same church. He was Surveyor of Preston, in
1722. He died about 1726-7, as an Admr's. bond of Deborah Parke, with Jonathan Geere as surety, was signed April 11, 1727, in sum of:^800, on the estate of James Parke.
