1871: living with family at Heyest Park Cottage, Both Hergests. Bailiff and ?shepherd. 5 children, oldest 4 listed as scholars.

1881 census: Innkeeper at Sun Inn, Winforton. First 4 children born in Kington, last 2 (age 2 and 0) in Winforton. His household included an indoor farm servant, Edwin Lloyd. Two eldest children (ages 10 and 8) are scholars. The 4 oldest children from 1871 are no longer listed in his household.

1891 census: At Sun Inn, Winforton, still innkeeper and farmer. The four eldest children (3 daughters) are listed as farmers daughters/son. No occupation for William (age 13, youngest 3 are scholars.

No mention of them, or the Parsonage in Eardisley trade journal 1895, Ann listed 1905. Ann must have moved to the Parsonage when he died - she was there by 1901.

1894 - he is listed as Farmer for Mary Ann's wedding which was in Eardisley.

1900 - deceased for Edith Annie's http://eardisleyhistory.org/search-eardisley-data/marriages/

Daughter, Thirza Philpotts (birth date 1973 v 70) appears as a housekeeper at Stretton Court in Stretton Sugwas in the 1901 census (age 28) - Daughter Edith Annie married in 1900.
