1881 census: Innkeeper at Sun Inn, Winforton. First 4 children born in Kington, last 2 (age 2 and 0) in Winforton. His household included an indoor farm servant, Edwin Lloyd. Two eldest children (ages 10 and 8) are scholars. The 4 oldest children from 1871 are no longer listed in his household.
