About James Reynolds
During a heavy gale of wind, just before the arrival to South Australian port, of the emigrant ship HOOGHLY, was a most awful but accidental death by the emigrant stove making it's way from it's fastenings and crushing James to death. Leaving a widow and five children the eldest a girl of fifteen years, the youngest an infant in arms.
