23 May 1573: Transumpt of Instrument of Resignation by James Sanlilandes [Sandilands] of St. Menans [St. Monance] in favour of his second son, John Sandilandes [Sandilands], of lands and town of Ester Pittadie [Pitteadie], in barony of Kinghorne [Kinghorn], and the annual rent in GD26/3/799, following on the marriage contract, dated 23 May 1573, between said John and Elizabeth Ogilvie, sister of Patrick Ogilvie of Inchmertine [Inchmartine], her tocher being £1000.
