Jan Kroesen

Following the death of Eva Auke, Abraham Van Buren married Elizabeth Croesen, the daughter of Jan Croesen and Brechtje Bergen. Thanks to Dorothy Koenig, I can offer you this source reference:

1998 book published by Gateway Press of Baltimore, MD, "The Croesen Families of America", by Warren D. Cruise. On page 273 there is a family group chart showing Jan Kroesen (son of Garret) and his 2 wives -- 1) Brechje Bergen and 2) Catrina Cornell.

Jan had 4 children by Brechje Bergen:

Derrick Kroesen m. 1) Catrina ______ and 2) Elizabeth Van Nuys Elsje Kroesen m. Wilhelmus Cornell Elizabeth Kroesen m. Dr. Abraham Van Buren Neeltje Kroesen m. Aert Wyckoff
