- Jane Becher was the daughter of John Becher and his first wife Frances Hedges. She was born in 1748.
- When Jane was only 15, she was married in April 1763 at Myross, County Cork to Daniel O'Donovan, a man 45 years older than her. She bore him four children before he died after 15 years of marriage in 1778. Her marriage settlement describes her as the eldest daughter of John Becher.

- Jane died in 1812 and was buried at Myross with her husband.
- A description of Jane written in 1813 by John Windel “Daniel O’Donovan was buried in the church at Myross, to which place he was followed in 1812 by his 2nd consort, a very fine woman whose memory will be forever dear to all who were acquainted with her amiable qualifications, benevolent disposition and tenderness of heart.
