On 13 August 1828 'The Waterford Mail' recorded the birth "At Ballynavin Castle, county of Tipperary, on the 28th ult. the lady of Robert C. D. Robinson, Esq. of twin daughters". As from her age in 1911 Jane was born about 1829, one of these twins may been her: since she is described as "second daughter" below, an first-born twin might have been regarded as first daughter.
In 1864 living at Holmwood, Putney, Surrey - husband's probate.
“Marriages ... At St. Stephen’s Church, Dublin, by the Rev. George Stoney assisted by the Rev. A. C. Thiselton, Captain Samuel John James Burns, 24th Regt. to Jane Peacock, second daughter of the Rev. Robert D Robinson, of Ballynavan Castle, county Tipperary, and widow of Captain Henry MacDonald Burns, 24th Regt.” - Tipperary Free Press, 14 Jul. 1865.
In 1911 lived at 34 Waterloo Road with her daughter Samina and her husband Ernest.
