Jane / Jean Morison Duff

Jean Abercromby was born about 1745. She was the daughter of General Sir James Alexander Abercromby and Mary Duff, of Dipple. Her first marriage was to Captain George Morison, of Haddo, at Fordyce, Banff, Scotland on the 31st of May, 1767. They had one daughter, Mary Morison. George Morison died in 1777. She remarried to her first cousin once removed Robert Duffat Glassnaugh on the 8th of November, 1781. They had no children together, but she raised his four children. Jean was also a first cousin to Robert's first wife, Helen Duff. She died in 1796.
