Janet Mae Hunt (Risner), age 73, passed away Monday evening, February 11, 2008 at the Hospice Home in Jackson, MI. after battling several months with lung cancer. Janet worked several years for Corning Glass Works as a credit union manager. When the company closed, she went on to elaborate in other employments finalizing her last years with Michigan Railroaders Credit Union in Jackson, Mi. She was preceded in death by her parents John and Verna Risner and her husband Gordon Hunt. Survivors are her children Catherine D. Nieto (Charles Bishop Jr.), Albion; Troy J Ellis, Jackson; Eric O Hunt, Virginia; Wendy M. Schregardus (Randy), Holland, Mi; Heather L. Williams (Ron), Jackson. Also surviving are her siblings Jim Risner (Sharon), John Risner (Mary), Thomas Risner (Linda) all of Parma. Her sisters are Ellen Lyons (David) and Cora Moor of Florida; Carol Parcher (Jon), Miss; and Lora Wilds (Rick) of Las Vegas. Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 16 at the J. L. Watson Chapel in Parma, Mi. Visitation for family will be at 11 a.m. following with public visitation at noon. Funeral service will begin at 1 p.m. Please call 517-745-1318 for information for contributions. A luncheon will be held at the Masonic Temple in Parma following the funeral service. A passing dish will be welcomed.
