Janet Dunlop was the daughter of Hugh Dunlop. She married John Sempill, 13th Lord Sempill, son of Brig.-Gen. Hugh Sempill, 12th Lord Sempill and Sarah Gaskell, on 10 March 1755.1 She died on 26 June 1809.
