Forbes, Janet, Lady (1544 -1616)
Janet Seton was the daughter of Sir Walter Seton of Touch, and Elizabeth Erskine. She married firstly Sir John Bellenden of Auchnol, with whom she had nine children. On the death of Sir John in 1576, she was married in 1580 as second wife to John Forbes, 8th Lord Forbes, with whom she had one son, Arthur, who died young.
