Jannetje Bennet

Hendrick Bennet was born circa 1693 at Kings County, New York. He was the son of Willem Willemse Bennett and Adriantje Vandewater. Hendrick married Jannetje Covenhoven, daughter of Jacob Willemse Van Kouwenhoven and Sara Schenck, circa 1730. Hendrick's estate was proved on 6-Apr-1784.

He was also known as Hendrick Bennett. He and Jannetje Covenhoven members at Dutch Reformed Church, Marlboro, Monmouth County, New Jersey, 1731. In his will dated Nov 8, 1766, Hendrick Bennett of Middletown, Monmouth County, NJ mentioned his wife Jane, four sons and two daughters. The executors were sons William and Hendrick, and the witnesses John Smock, Jr., Silvanus Glover, and Cornelius Smock.
