Janpakka of Batavia, PROG

In the 1863 death notice of Hadjie Gazadien Carel Pelgrim, his mother's name is only given as "Pakka"; Jackie Loos in Echoes of Slavery was of the opinion that Janpakka of Batavia (c.1755 - 1835) was the most likely candidate.

In the Death Notice of Jaria Dated 1875, her mothers name is noted as Janpakka. Copy of Death Notice attached to Jarias profile image.
