About Jean Etienne de Chezaulx
Jean de Chezaulx was the French Counsel in Norway. During the Revolutionary War he corresponded directly with the the Continental Congress, including Benjamin Franklin. They discussed money to be provided to American Privateer John Paul Jones for British ships captured during the Revolutionary War.
