There is a question as to which of the Jean LeQUESNEs in the family tree is the Grandfather of Francis Barclay LeCAIN. Jean son of Jean married in 1702 Anne LeBROT and died in 1717. Jean son of Thomas married 6 Dec 1701 Rachell DURELL dit LeVAVASSEUR in St. Saviour Parish. He died on 7 Apr 1733. Whichever is the case the John of interest had at least three chiIdren.

This tree assumes Jean son of Thomas as the one through whom the line goes, but in any case in another generation it is united again, since Thomas and Jean were brothers.
