ADA — Graveside services for Jeanne Mindell, 100, Ada, are 11 a.m. Thursday at Wichita Hebrew Cemetery in Wichita, Kan.Mrs. Mindell died Monday, Nov. 17, 2008, at a local nursing home. She was born July 30, 1908, in London, England, to Leon and Esther Solove Matassarin.She married Dave Mindell who preceded her in death. Mr. and Mrs. Mindell owned and operated Mindell Food Market in St. Joseph, Mo., until their retirement.Survivors include a daughter, Bobbie Sachs, Ada; two brothers, Dr. Ben Matassarin, Wichita, Kan., and Richard Matassarin and his wife Nancy, Newport Beach, Calif.; three grandchildren, Laura Benham and her husband Jim, Ada, Randy Sachs and his wife Leah, Keller, Texas, and Jim Sachs, Wichita, Kan.; and six great-grandchildren.Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.adaeveningnews.com.Criswell Funeral Home, Ada
