An abstract of the Will of Brandelis de Caumont, dated 1461, shows that Brandelis left a dowry to his daughter Jeanne, “futur épouse” of Antoine de Salignac (de Salinhaco). His wife Marguerite was still alive at that date, and so was almost certainly Jeanne’s mother: Cabinet des Titres, Chérin d’Hozier Fr. #31609
