Jennie Faitoute

Faitoute (with a "u") is the correct spelling. Notice that in NJ where this family once lived, there are streets named after them, spelled correctly. The incorrect spelling came from an old source that may have been a typo or just careless grammar, and unfortunately became popular for some strange reason.

"Jennie married Aaron Faito[u]te and had an only child, Abigail, who married Charles Marsh and had ten sons and two daughters, nearly all of whom married and raised large families.
