Jennie Neff Moyer Martin

Birth: Oct. 22, 1904 Death: Dec. 29, 1984

Mrs. Jennie N. Martin, 80, of the Mennonite Home, 1520 Harrisburg Pike, died there Saturday afternoon after a lengthy illness.

Formerly of Manheim R6, she was the wife of Noah Z. Martin, who also resides at the Mennonite Home. Born in East Lampeter Township, she was the daughter of the late George W. and Mary Neff Rohrer. Her first husband, Clarence H. Moyer, died in 1954.

She was a member of the New Haven Mennonite Church in Lexington.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by five children: D. Clyde Moyer, of Lancaster; Anna Ruth, wife of J. Delmar Ebersole, West Branch, Iowa; J. Kenneth Moyer, Manheim R2; Mary Jane, wife of Roy K. Sauder, Manheim R1; and Clarence R. Moyer, Manheim R6.

Also surviving are 11 stepchildren: Issac S. Martin, Manheim R4; Walter S. Martin, Intercourse; Anna Mary, wife of Roy W. Stauffer Jr., Lititz; Clarence S. Martin, Manheim R7; Chester S. Martin, LaFayette, Ind.; Dorothy, wife of John Freed, Philadelphia; Catherine, wife of Daniel Longenecker, Hatfield; Irene, wife of Sanford Leaman, Lancaster; Noah Martin Jr., Johnstown; Susan, wife of Leon Weber, Irwin, Ohio; and Melvin S. Martin, Los Angeles, Calif; 12 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; 39 stepgrandchildren; and 32 stepgreat-grandchildren.
