Enlisted in the U.S. Army: February 17, 1941- Fort William McKinley, Rizal, Philippines. Assigned to Company "B" 14th Engineers (PS). Received the American Defense Service Medal w/ 1 bronze star, Asiatic Pacific Theater medal w/ 1 bronze star, Distinguished Unit Badge w/ 2 Oak Leaf Clusters,Philippine Liberation Medal w/ 1 bronze star, Philippine Defense Ribbon w/ 1 bronze star, Good Conduct Medal and the Victory Medal World War II. During the Fall of Corregidor, Emias was one of those who walked and survived the "Death March" From Bataan to Camp O'Donnell. Honorably Discharged from the U.S. Army: June 30, 1946. Enrolled at (PSBA) Philippine School of Business Administration and later changed to "UNIVERSITY of the EAST". He is one of the first graduates of the University of the East garnering Bachelor of Science in Commercial Education.He was a GOD Fearing Individual, a Diciplinarian, Honest, Intelligent, Man of Integrity......" A WELL ROUNDED INDIVIDUAL"
