Relatives and friends of the Traer community were notified Wednesday of the sudden death that morning of Mrs. Gary (Jerilyn Kay) Ewoldt, 26, of Bettendorf. The daughter-in-law of Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Ewoldt of Traer, her death was attributed to an apparent heart condition. Services will be held Friday at 11 a. m. at the Asbury Methodist church at Bettendorf with Hall and Fredericks Mortuary in Bettendorf handling the arrangements. The body will then be taken to the Reece Funeral home in Ottumwa and visitation will be Friday from 7 to 9 p. m. there. Graveside services are tentatively set for tomorrow (Saturday) at 11 a. m. at the Ottumwa cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Asbury Methodist church in Bettendorf.

The former Jerilyn Kay Daniels was born October 27, 1942, in Ottumwa, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Daniels. She was a 1960 graduate of Ottumwa high school and was married to Gary Ewoldt May 3, 1964.

Survivors include her husband, Gary; a daughter, Ann; at home; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Daniels of Ottumwa; paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. William Daniels of Ottumwa; and a brother, Jon, serving with the U. S. Army in Seoul, Korea. - Contributor: George (48419540)
