Jimmie was the son of Henry Hunt and Lula Deese. He married Pauline Hunt. He was the victim of a hit and run accident at Five Points in Fairmont, NC. His maternal grandparents, Thomas Deese and Susie Dial Deese, are also buried at Harpers Ferry.

• **NOTE: His birth date is given as Aug. 11, 1912 on his WWII draft card and Aug. 13, 1913 on his NC death certificate.
  • *NOTE: Jimmie is buried next to his first cousin, Wilton Deese. Wilton's mother, Anna Deese Blue, and Jimmie's mother, Lula Deese Revels, were sisters.
