Jimmie D Pettit

Jimmie Pettit, 67, of Eminence, died Thursday, April 11, 1985, at the King’s Daughters Hospital, Frankfort. He was a retired Security Guard at Eminence Copper Range after 14 years; a former member of the Eminence Lions Club and a member of the Franklinton Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife: Mrs. Minnie Kent Pettit, Eminence; one daughter: Mrs. Annetta Shannon, Pleasureville; two sons: Jimmie Ray Pettit and Calvin G. Pettit, both of Eminence; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, April 13th from Prewitt’s, New Castle. Rev. Michael Duncan, pastor Eminence Baptist Church, officiated. Interment was in the Eminence Cemetery.
