Joan Evelyn Houston McMillan

I am Margaret (Peggy) Page nee Houston-McMillan James was my Dad and my Mom was Joan. Unfortunately I was only 10 when my mother passed away and somehow I don't seem to remember much about her except I heard she was a very clever women and a terrific pianist, she composed and wrote the music "Fond Memories" at the South African Eistedford, in Capetown in 1925 the words and music by Joan Worsley. A beautiful piece of music. I know she used to have Epileptic Fits. When she died we lived on a farm in Creighton Vlei Villa and my 3 brothers were already in Johannesburg boarding with Aunti Maude, Moms sister, as no high school in Creighton, then I went to JHB as well and then Cassie and Pat. Dad met and married Phoebe later on in years with six of us and she had 3 children, so to marry with so many children it was marvelous for her and for Dad as he was alone in the big farm house while we were all away so we were thrilled when we heard they were getting married. Maybe a lot of you on Geni won't know about this part of our lives so just to keep in touch with the past.
