Worked in Ammo factories of England during WWII. Remember her recalling the German air raids that drove British for cover. Also recall her talking about her bike riding skills and racing others in competitions. She spoke of how the train she took from NYC to New Orleans had their curtains closed once the train crossed the Mason Dixon line.
