Joan married Nicholas DE PERCY Lord of Kildale, son of Arnold DE PERCY Lord of Kildale and Christina, before 1312 8394. (Nicholas DE PERCY Lord of Kildale was born about 1290 in Kildale, North Riding Yorkshire, England and died on 6 Aug 1324.)

Her heirs (as returned in Cheshire) were her two daughters: (i) Joan, her daughter by Nicholas de Percy, then aged 26 and wife of Piers de Brewes ...

Joan married 2) Sir John V DE MALTRAVERS of Woolcombe, son of Sir John IV DE MALTRAVERS of Lytchett and Joan, after 1324 8395,8396. (Sir John V DE MALTRAVERS of Woolcombe was born before 1266 in Woolcombe Matravers, Dorchester, Dorset, England 8401 and died after 26 Jan 1340-1341 in Lytchett Matravers, Poole, Dorset, England 8402.)

By his 2nd wife Sir John had 3 daughters, Alice, Joan and Elizabeth. Joan dsp., but Elizabeth had issue and long survived her mother, though not returned as coheir in the Inq.p.m. quoted in note "c" on following page.

Joan married 3) Sir Alexander DE VENABLES after 1341 8397. (Sir Alexander DE VENABLES was born about 1304 in England and died after 7 Sep 1342.)
