About Joanna Fisher
Johanna was the granddaughter of Sir John Lisle of the Isle of Wight, Hampshire, England and his wife Lady Alice Beconsaw - both had "sticky" deaths. He was murdered on his way to church in Lucerne Switzerland and some say by order of the King and she was unfortunate enough to be tried by Judge Jeffreys who ordered her to be burned at the stake but she had this changed by influence with the King to execution by chopping off her head - last woman in England to die this way.
