Johan Jacob Kritzinger, SV/PROG 1

Johan(n) Jacob GrÃ(t)zinger arrived in the Cape of Good Hope in 1769, on board the Vreeburg. At the time he was a soldier in the service of the Dutch East India Company.

From Besigheim, died between 1791 and 1803 probably in Kabeljousrivier, married :

• (i) Anna Elizabeth Strydom (10.7.1776),
• (ii) Hester Ferreira (widow of Andries du Preez) on 16.7.1786.

Andries du Preez. 5 children (one son, Thomas Ignatius, bapt. 1788 in the Lutheran Church, not mentioned in G.R.; his son Johan Jacob was also bapt. in the Lutheran Church, 5.10.1783.
