About Johann 'Hans' Hensli Naff
(AKA Hans Hensli Naf).Hans's son,Adam,an Ax Guard under (Capt.)Hans Huber of Tufenbach,rescued the Banner of Zurich during the Kappel Wars,1531.Hans's son Marx also took part in this conflict,and was wounded. This Hans was a warrior 1495,1501,and 1515. Hans and wife Katharina are ancestors of Henry Clay "Coke King" Frick (1849-1919),businessman and philanthropist,who organized the H.C. Frick Coke Co. in 1871,later merging with Andrew Carnegie's interests. Henry was grandson of Abraham Overholt (Oberholtzer)(1784-1870),distiller,whose face appears on the bottle label for "Old Overholt" Rye Whiskey. Abraham was the first to discover coal in Westmoreland Co. PA. while building his stone distillery. (Info from Donna Null Basinger's database). Henry C.
