BIOGRAPHY Johann Carl Friedrich Henrichsdorff was born on 3 August 1795 in Danzig, East-Prussia, the son of Johann Friedrich Henrichsdorff and Friederike Maria Pegelau. He was a merchant and inherited the famous distillery 'Lachs' from his uncle Carl Gottfried Henrichsdorff.
On 9 October 1823 he married Marianna Angelika van Almonde, a famous opera singer, daughter of Cornelius van Almonde, Dutch Consul General in Danzig, and Mary MacLean. Their daughter Maria Anna married Adalbert von der Marwitz.
Johann Carl Friedrich died on 23 December 1836 in Danzig. On 3 January 1839 his widow married Archibald Maclean of Coll. She died 28 August 1866 in Czerbienczyn.
